TODD VANACORE
A longtime teammate of Tom's, Todd broke out onto the Majors scene in 2015, finishing the year with a fifth place finish at the National Runoffs. Todd currently holds the track record at Sebring International Raceway and Virginia International Raceway, in a SRF3.
Russ Turner
Russ joined the team in the fall of 2016. Perviously enjoying success on the drag strip, Russ is quickly beginning to get the hang of road racing.
DENNY STRIPLING
Racer X: the man, the myth, the legend. Denny has been dominating the sport for decades. He came to SSR (then SEI) last year, and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. Denny capped the 2015 season off with a narrow second place finish at the National Runoffs.
JUSTIN WEIR
The son of Tom, and third generation SCCA racer, Justin won the 2015 Southeastern Championship Series (SECS), as well as, finished third in SARRC. He also is the 2015 SCCA SEDIV Divisional Driver of the Year, South Carolina Driver of the Year, and posted an 11th place finish at the 2015 National Runoffs.
TOM WEIR
Together with Tony Newsom, Tom owns and operates SSR. A dentist in Charleston, SC, Tom is a perennial contender in the South Atlantic Road Racing Championship (SARRC), winning it in 2015.
TONY NEWSOM
A former oval track champion, Tony has since become one of the leading authorities in SRF racing. He has crewed many drivers to victory lane, and is a trusted source for SRF information.
BUDD SEVERINO
The former owner of SEI, Budd passed the team on to Tony and Tom in 2016. Budd can still be found at the track, and will continue to race with SSR.
RONNIE BLEDSOE
Friend of Budd's, Ronnie has been a longtime SRF competitor. He can still be found out on the track, winning races.
